Orthodox Christian Fellowship Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF) is the campus ministry of the Orthodox Church. Here in Iowa City, we are an official student organization at the University of Iowa. Our mission is "to help our youth discover that it is communion with God, through life in the Church, which gives real meaning and significance to life." -OCF.net OCF throughout North America is dedicated to providing resources and opportunities for college students to apply their faith in their daily lives. OCF offers not only a chance to come alongside families and parishes in the common love of Christ, but also a variety of events and activities geared toward fellowship and serving others. We also participate in the blessed services and life of the Church, growing together in faith and love, and spreading God's love to all of those around us. Thursday, September 15, 7PM - Compline, followed by book study of "To Love As God Loves" by Roberta Bondi Fall 2011 Weekly Meeting Times and Activities The 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month we will be holding weekly meetings from 7 to about 9 pm at St. Raphael Mission (722 E. College St.) for a talk with Fr. Ignatius, and Compline. The 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month will be more casual and we will meet for dinner at 6:30pm and hang out. At the beginning, to keep things simple, our faculty advisor Lori Branch Peterson has offered to host these dinners at her house (831 Dearborn St. Iowa City, IA 52240). We may decide to mix things up a little later on.
